Dennis Lee Ihle

Dennis was born January 6, 1958, in Blue Earth, the son of Harold and Marjorie (Heldt) Ihle. He was raised and educated in the Pilot Grove area where he attended East Chain and Blue Earth Schools, graduating from Blue Earth High School in 1976. Dennis was an excellent high school athlete, being name all state in Football and Basketball. Following school he worked construction. He was married to Kathy Marie Larson on April 16, 1983 in Blue Earth. Dennis had become an accomplished mason and the couple move to St. Paul where he worked for several masonry companies before he started Dennis Ihle Concrete in the early 1990s. He returned to Blue Earth in 2008 where he continued working as a mason. Dennis was an avid golfer and member of Minn Iowa Golf Club, gardener hunter, fisherman, Chef and loved his dog. He was an avid Minnesota sports fan and was an active member in his church, where he served as a greeter, and especially loved any time spent with his close family. Dennis is survived by his wife, Kathy Ihle of Blue Earth, his daughter, Denise Ihle (and future son in law, Lukas Patten) of Burnsville, his brother, Lyle Ihle of Minnesota Lake, his sister, Diane ( Brian ) Frey of Athol, Mass., his mother, Marjorie Bengston of Blue Earth,mother-in-law, Darlene (Roy) Jenks of Sun City West, Arizona, father-in-law, Neil (Linda) Larson of Mooresville, North Carolina, his step sister, DeDe Preston (and husband Alan Hummel) of Delano, his brothers in law: Randy Larson of St. Paul, Dave (Wendy) Larson of Stewartville, Brian (Karen) Jenks of Bloomington, his sisters in law, Brenda Jenks of Duluth,Georgia, Shelly (Stu) Hengsteler of Castle Rock, Colorado, Roxanne Jenks of Prior Lake and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Ihle, brother, Marlin Ihle and step-father, George Bengston.
