Herbert Fox

Herbert Paul Fox, 92, passed away on September 25, 2010 in Burleson, Texas, where he lived with his son for the last six years. Herbert Paul Fox was born on April 13, 1918 in Blue Earth, MN to Paul Fuchs and Anna Giese Fuchs. He is preceded in death by his wife, Verna Fox (1992), 3 brothers (Theodore, Edward, Donald) and 1 sister (Margaret). He is survived by son, Dave Fox and Brenda; daughter, Phyllis Plum and David; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; brother, Mert Fuchs and sister, Luella Tonn. Herb was born and raised in Blue Earth and was married to Verna in 1939. He was a life-long farmer, mostly in Blue Earth. No one could beat him in a checkers game, not even his dad who taught him. He managed thrashing crews, and was a master at fixing farming equipment. He enjoyed fishing and Johnny Cash music. Herbert was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a beloved Father and Grandfather, so loved by all. We miss him so!
