Vernon L. Clough

He was born October 11, 1934, in Hollandale, MN, the son of Leeland and Anzetta (Adams) Clough. He was raised and educated in Albert Lea where he was a 1955 graduate of Albert Lea High School. Following school he helped his family farm. He was married to Jean Zerck on April 27, 1957 in Albert Lea. He entered the U.S. Army later in 1957 and completed his service in 1962. Following a divorce he moved to Blue Earth where he worked construction. He was a member of the American Legion. Vern loved fishing in southern Minnesota and was great at planning & taking friends on surprise mystery tours. Vern is survived by his daughter, Debra Butler of Northwood, Iowa, daughter Donna Butler of Northwood, Iowa, son Douglas Clough of Hollandale, brother, Delmer Clough of White Bear Lake, 6 grandchildren and Special Friend, Luella Tonn of Blue Earth. He was preceded in death by his parents.
