Ordella Furland

Ordella was born October 15, 1927, at Montrose, South Dakota, the daughter of Andrew and Serina (Soma) Eastvold. She was educated in Montrose, S.D. and at Frost country schools. She was married to Earl T. Furland on October 12, 1945 in Blue Earth. The couple farmed near Frost for many years while Ordella also worked seasonally at Green Giant and later with Telex. She later worked at the Blue Earth Chamber of Commerce and spent 20 years working at Walmart in Blue Earth as a greeter. Ordella was an active, member United Lutheran Church in Frost and later Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. Ordella is survived by her son, Larry (Roberta) Furland of Mankato, her daughter, Lisa (Brett) Wirth of Blue Earth, her significant other- Arling Larson of Emmons, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl in 1985, two sisters and four brothers.
