Alyce J. Larsen

Alyce was born May 8, 1914, at Pilot grove Township, MN, the daughter of Nels and Lena (Brekke) Hanevik. She was raised and educated in Elmore where she attended schools. She was married to Kenneth R. Larsen on September 13, 1936 in St. Paul, MN. The couple lived in Elmore where Alyce was a homemaker and was a longtime member of the Elmore United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Elmore Eastern Star and of the Trinity Quilters group in Elmore. She was a talented baker and enjoyed her time with family, especially with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. Alyce is survived by her daughter, Janet Larsen of St. Paul, her daughter in-law, Kasi Larsen of Minnetonka, her grandchildren, Chance Larsen & Piper (Cy) Anders, and her great granddaughter- Ella Anders. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth in 1991, her son, Roger Larsen in 2008, six sisters and two brothers.
