Doris was born in Prescott township, MN on December 15, 1926 the daughter of Ira J. and Marie (Willette) Trembley. She attended rural school district #32, Delavan High School and graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1944. She worked for First National Bank of Blue Earth from 1944 to 1981. She then worked for Faribault Co. in the office of Treasurer and Auditor, retiring July 1, 1992. She was married to Stephen M. Kennedy on September 5, 1949 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth. To this union were born Mark, James & Thomas. Stephen passed away in January of 1985. She was later married to Harvey M. Warner on August 3, 1990. Following his death in 1993 she was united in marriage to Rolland J. Paul on November 1, 1997. They spent summers in Minnesota and winters in Sun City, Arizona until his death in May of 2001. She continued to winter in Arizona. Doris was active in her church, holding several office in WCCW and Catholic Daughters of America, being a member for over 50 years. She served on the Parish Council for 3 years as secretary. She was a 28 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary where she served as Auditor for several years. She is survived by her sons: Mark (Vickie) Kennedy of Kasota, James (Carolyn) Kennedy of Blue Earth, Thomas Kennedy of Avondale, Arizona, six grandchildren: Patrick, Christopher, Jonathan (Nicole), Meagan, Austin & Rachel Kennedy. Also surviving are severak step-children, step grandchildren, 2 great grandsons, sisters: Sr. Rochelle Trembley SSND of Mankato, Ethel Erickson of Aurora, Illinois, Marceline Henke of Amarillo, Texas, sisters-in-law, Karen Trembley of McGregor & Kate Trembley of Austin and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
