Forest Johnson was born October 07, 1929, in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Charles and Hazel (Johnson) Johnson. He was raised in Helmar, Illinois and went to Newark, Illinois High School. He was married to Ruby Marlene Evans on September 8, 1955 in Plano, Illinois. Forest loved any farm related work and had deliver fertilizer, feed and LP Gas for many years. He also raised some hogs. Later he worked with Caterpillar as an assembler and welder for over 20 years before retiring in 1991. In 1992 the couple moved to Frost where he became a member of Dell Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing cards at the Frost Senior Center. Forest was a dedicated family man and was a former member of the American Legion Post in Plano, Illinois. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, five children; Zane Johnson, Theresa (Allen) Bagg, Sara Kling, Cozette (Wayne) Jones, Gretchen (Rick) Kerry; nine grandchildren; Anna and Noel Johnson, Evan and Briante Bagg, Nicole and Daniel Kling, Brandon and Forest Jones, and Andrew Bell; 2 great grandchildren, sister, Arnita Magiera, daughter-in-law, Sue Johnson, many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ruby in 2005, brothers, Bud & Stan Johnson, sister, Devonah Webster, son-in-law, Daniel Kling, and grandson, Ryan David Johnson.
