LaVern Fuchs

LaVern was born February 12, 1942, in Buffalo Center, IA, the son of Theodore and Helen (Klatt) Fuchs. He was raised on the family farm located about 6 miles southeast between the Blue Earth and Elmore Area. He attended and graduated 2nd in his class from the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf in Faribault. Following graduation LaVern worked for various manufacturing companies in the Minneapolis, Mankato and St. James areas. Later in life he returned to the family farm SE of Blue Earth where he worked and lived with his father and mother.He moved to the Twin Cities / Moundsview area in 2002 shortly after the passing of his mother. He enjoyed woodworking, playing croquet, watching television, driving in his car and truly had a love caring for animals. LaVern is survived by his Brother-in-law Richard Ammann of Sherburn, MN, his nephew Darron Ammann and family of Lawrence, KS and several others cousins and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara (Fuchs) Ammann.
