Anna Zinniel

Anna was born March 10, 1913, in Eden Township, the daughter of Frank and Marguerita (Rausch) Mathiowetz. On October 10, 1940 Anna married Leo Zinniel in Morgan, MN.Anna lived in Morgan, Sleepy Eye, Wells, and later moved to Winnebago in 1993. Recently in August of 2008, Anna had moved to Mankato. Anna was very talented; she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and gardening. Anna also enjoyed playing cards and traveling. She had been a member of the St. Mary''s Catholic Church for 10 years. Anna loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her apple pie and jams will certainly be missed. Anna is survived by her daughter, Mary (Jerry) Zimmeth; son, Leon (Shirley) Zinniel; son Lyle(Kathy) Zinniel; daughter, Colleen (Doug) Lempkie; brother, Martin Mathiowetz, grandchildren, TomZimmeth, Ann (Rob) True, Jennifer (Phil) Drees, Mike (Denise) Zinniel, Greg Zinniel, Bryan (Fiance'' Katie Smith) Lempkie, and Beth Lempkie;nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, and 6 brothers.
