Bertha Beem

Bertha was born June 17, 1908, at Jordan, Minnesota, the daughter of Peter and Bertha (Janz) Wieben.She was raised in the Jordan area and was married to William F. Gerres on February 22, 1930. The couple farmed in the Lydia, Minnesota area and later in the New Prague and Henderson areas. Bertha was later married to W. Murl Beem on June 20, 1960 and the couple lived in Buffalo Lake, Minnesosta. Bertha was a homemaker and had done cleaning at area home and business through the years. Berth moved to the Blue Earth area in the mid 1990''s where she was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth and later the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Winnebago.Bertha is survived by her daughter, Delores Huber of Elmore, daughter, Dorothy (& David) Lilygren of Luck, Wisconsin , 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, Willim Gerres in 1968, husband Murl Beem in 1997, aninfant sister and 3 other sisters: Annabelle Licha, Dorothy Parrish & Mary Gerres, a brother-in-law, Matt Gerres anda son-in-law, Larry Huber.
