She was born June 30, 1922, at Bricelyn, MN, the daughter of Art & Marie Lindeman and was baptized at Bricelyn Lutheran Church. She was raised and educated in Bricelyn where she was a 1940 graduate of Bricelyn High School. She attended Mankato State and the Minnesota School of Business before going to Washington DC to be a secretary during WW II. Audrey was married to James A. Olson on March 19, 1942 in Washington D.C. The couple moved back to Bricelyn where they had two sons, Mikkel and Dennis. They later moved to Blue Earth in 1953 where Audrey began working for the Ankeny & Wiederholt / Ankeny Brothers Construction as a secretary. She worked with the construction company for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth and the Deborah Circle there. She was a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Blue Earth and enjoyed golfing, traveling, reading, sewing, doing crossword puzzles, collecting teddy bears and most of all playing bridge.Audrey is survived by her son, Dennis Olson (& wife Vicki St. Martin) of Santa Barbara, California, cousins, nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2002, a son- Mikkel in 1985, a sister- Madelyne McQuillan and a brother- Donald Lindeman.
