Marilyn was born August 17, 1932, at Prescott Township, MN, the daughter of Austin and Cornelia (Johnson) Lent. She was raised on the family farm Southwest of Delavan and was a 1952 graduate of Delavan High School. She was a longtime member of the Delavan United Methodist Church, where she was baptized and later confirmed. The family moved to Blue Earth in 1967 where Marilyn became a member of the First United Methodist Church. Marilyn enjoyed a local garden club, word find puzzles, embroidery, baking and singing just to pass the time. She especially enjoyed spending time with her young nieces and nephews and with children in general. Marilyn is survived by her brother, John (& Lorraine) Lent of Owatonna, her sister, Ruthanne (& Don) Chilson of Rush City, sister-in-law, Darlene (& Al) Quade of Wells, several niece & nephews, great nieces & great nephews,1 aunt and 2 unclesShe was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carlyle Lent.
