Danny Petersen

Danny was born July 2, 1961, in Winnebago, the son of Gary Petersen and Patricia Johnson. He was raised in Blue Earth where he was a 1979 graduate of Blue Earth High School. Following high school he entered the U.S. Army where he was a machinist at Fort Dix and later in Germany. He returned from the service in 1982 and worked as a machinist in Minneapolis and later in Colorado before coming back to Blue Earth. Danny enjoyed music, reading, remote controlled cars, building & flying model airplanes, football, baseball and was a big NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed favorite foods from Taco Bell and Arby,s; if those weren''t available a bologna sandwich would do as well.Danny is survived by his mother, Patricia (& Bob) Halverson of Blue Earth, his sister, Brenda (& Michael) Hesebeck of Springfield, Missouri, his brother, Jeffrey (& Liz) Petersen of Owatonna, his brother, Steven Petersen of Ceylon, his brother, Brad Halverson of St. Cloud, and nieces & nephews: Dustin & Dallas Roth, Tasha Hesebeck, Zachary Petersen, Angie & Joey Emmert.He was preceded in death by his father, Gary in 1993.
