Henry W. Wrase

Henry William Wrase was born January 11, 1934, in Lakefield, MN, the son of Henry and Anna (Schmidt) Wrase. He entered the U.S. Navy after graduating from Lakefield High School in 1952. He served aboard the USS Rendova during the Korean Conflict, and was honorably discharged on August 6, 1960. Bill was employed in the road construction industry for 40 years, retiring from Buffalo Bituminous in 2000. Bill is survived by his wife, Connie Wrase of Frost, his son, Derek (Diane) Wrase of Northwood, Iowa, his daughter, Jacalyn(Bruce) Dreier of Minneapolis, his son, Patrick (Connie) Wrase of Gaylord, his son, Thomas (Autumn) Wrase of Fairmont. Grandpa Bill is survived by his 9 grandchildren: Alyson Wrase & Ayrica Wrase of Frost, Jarrod & Jade Dreier of Minneapolis, Leah (Sean) Brandt of Burnsville, Justina Griebel & Ana Wrase of Gaylord, Tyler & Teigan Wrase of Fairmont. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Clarice Brekke of Frost,4 sisters and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
