Dorothy was born April 25, 1921, in Delavan, MN, the daughter of Edward and Edith(Conrad) Hahn. She grew up in Delavan where she graduated from Delavan High School in 1939. After graduation she attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter where she studied business. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, singing, fishing, being a homemaker and she loved her dog-Molly. She was active with the Senior Citizens in Blue Earth, volunteered at the Rainbow Coop and Blue Earth Library, and was active in several community organizations. She was a longime member of the former First United Methodist Church in Blue Earth, now the Hope United Methodist Church.Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Henry Ficken and Wayne Hanna and her sisiter, Adrienne Stauffenberg.She is survived by her sister, Harriet Heppner of Delavan, step-son, Lesley Hanna and step-daughter, Sharon Nowak both of the Twin Cities, grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews and special friend, Clifford Fuchs.
