Eldora Elmore

She was born August 23, 1925, in Canova, South Dakota, the daughter of Erik and Hilda (Palmquist) Erikson.Eldora was raised in South Dakota and came to Blue Earth in 1941. She was married to Donald K. Elmore on December 11, 1945 in Blue Earth. Eldora was a homemaker and has also worked seasonally for Green Giant in Blue Earth. The couple moved to Ozark, Missouri in 1986 where Eldora became a member of the Cassidy United Methodist Church in Nixa, MO. She was also active in the Senior Citizens Center and was President of the Oats Senior Citizen Bus Transportation Service in Ozark, MO. She enjoyed embroidery and spending time with her friends & family, especially her grandchildren. Eldora is survived by her son, Robert (& Susan) Elmore of Ozark, MO. her daughter, Sheryl (& Bob) Cressinger of Jackson, MN., her sister, Sylvia Handlin of Fairmont, MN., her sister, Elaine (& Darvine) Cottew of Fairmont, MN, her 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 1997, son-in-law, John Dorschner, 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
