Lou was born February 22, 1927, in Blue Earth, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Groth) Henke.She was a lifetime resident of Blue Earth, graduating from Blue Earth High School in 1945. She was married to Marvin H. Pirsig on August 25, 1945 in Blue Earth. Lou was a homemaker and had done home daycare for a few years. She was a longtime member of Salem United Methodist Church where she was active in various groups and circles. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crafting, was an avid reader and loved playing many card games- especially with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lucille "Lou" Pirsig is survived by her daughter, JoAnn (& Larry) Oltman of Greeley, Colorado, her daughter, Kathy Anderson of Blue Earth, her brother, Harland (& Shirley) Henke of Farmington, her brother, Robert (& Marce) Henke of Amarillo, Texas, her sister, Marge Holland of Blue Earth, her sister, Maxine (& Robert) Ikier of Amboy, her grandchildren: Lori (& Rod) Clark of Greeley, Co., David (& Connie) Krosch of Wessington, SD, Tricia Jo (& Randy) Shindelar of Plainview, Chad (& Shannon) Anderson of Wells, Michael (& Erin) Anderson of Pine City and 10 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2005 a sister, Arlene Wilke and a brother-in-law, Gary Holland.
