Lloyd L. Abraham, son of Elfrieda (Ehrich) and Arthur Abraham, was born and died on the Abraham century farm in Elmore Township. He came into this world on July 26, 1925, and was baptized and confirmed at St. John''s Lutheran Church. Lloyd was a life-time member of St. John''s Lutheran Church and held various church offices. He attended school in Elmore Township. On September 6, 1946 he was united in marriage at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth to Clarice Amelia Malwitz. They farmed the family farm together until Lloyd''s retirement in 1990. He served on the Elmore Township Board from 1960-2000 and was a hail adjuster for Farmer''s Mutual for 23 years. Lloyd was a member of Farm Bureau and many other agricultural organizations for many years. He enjoyed giving his grandchildren rides on his tractors and lawn mowers, ice fishing, sports, camping, dancing, tending his trees, and cruising the countryside. His family will remember the twinkle in his eye, the tenderness of his heart, his love of the land, and his compassion for all things living.Left to cherish his memory is his family: wife, Clarice of rural Blue Earth; daughters: Joan Abraham (Thomas Reiten) of Grand Forks, N.D.; Kathryn Kraft (John) of Ham Lake, MN; Diane Tvedten (David) of Elmore, MN; and Sandra Abraham (Darryl Helmer) of Billings, MT; 4 grandchildren: Danielle Tvedten (and special friend Trever Elg); Danica Tvedten (and fianc??e Chris Rathman); Jonathon Kraft (and special friend Kelly Hince); Cullen Helmer; many other relatives and dear friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Everett Abraham.
