Esther H. Teigland

Esther was born December 8, 1917, at Yorkville, Illinois, the daughter of Andrew and Bertha (Hill) Larson. She was baptized, confirmed, and later married to Ernest E. More on April 14, 1934 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, MN. To this union 4 children were born: Harlan (& Mary) More of Northfield, LaVonne (& James) Timbeross of Perham, Kenneth More, who died in infancy, and Kathleen (& Raymond) Thompson of Chaska. The couple farmed in Mapleton and later moved to a farm in LeRoy, MN in 1948. Esther was an active member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in LeRoy, MN. Mr. More died on November 17, 1960 and she was later married to Harold Engelhardt on August 10, 1963. Harold died in 1975 and Esther was married to James Teigland on August 22, 1981. The couple returned to Blue Earth in 1981 where she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. James died on December 28, 1995 and Esther moved close to her daughter in Shakopee in 1997. She is survived by her son-Harlan and two daughters, LaVonne Timbeross & Kathy Thompson. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren: Steven (& wife Gail) Timbeross, David (& wife Tami) Timbeross, Connie (& husband Randy) Lehman, Randy More (& wife Joanne Swandby), Scott (& wife Diane) More, Becky (& husband Steve) Piechowski, Matthew Thompson and Nathan (& wife Mandy (Thompson), 7 great grandchildren: Lindsey & Sydney More, Ethan More, Mary & Madeline Piechowski, Jenna Timbeross and Isabella Thompson.
