Donovan Thompson

Donovan was born June 11, 1935, at Rake, IA, the son of Raymond and Edna (Breitenfeld) Thompson.He was raised in Elmore where he attended Elmore, Janesville and Campbell, MN schools. He lived most all of his life in Elmore where he worked at various businesses through the years, including at the Elmore Nursery, the Tile Factory and in later years mowing many neighborhood lawns. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore and was most recently a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore for many years.Donovan is survived by his brother, Gaylen Thompson of Elmore, his brother, Bradley (& Phyllis) Thompson of Palestine, Texas, his sister, Corrine (& Jerry) O''Neil of Lewisville, Texas and other family & friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a brother- Allen Thompson.
