MaryLou passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 5, 2007. She was born on December 31, 1927, in Prescott, Wisconsin, to Harold and Lena (Frank) Driscoll.She was raised in Prescott, WI and the Blue Earth area, and was a 1945 graduate of Blue Earth High School where she met her husband, Lowell Erdahl. They were married on June 7, 1947. After Lowell''s death on September 6, 1976, MaryLou continued living in Blue Earth. As a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, MaryLou remained very active throughout her life on various committees; she belonged to TLCW and served at many church functions. She was Vice President 1967-1968 and was President 1969 to 1970. In addition to these leadership positions, she served as a circle chairperson, and lesson leader, taught Sunday school and release time, and was a Deacon of the church council for five years. She was on the following committees: Worship, Arts & Music, Pastoral Call, Stewardship, Building Fund, and the Trinity Building committee. She was also a Stephen Series Minister and Leader. MaryLou served on the Board of Directors of Chain of Lakes C.D. Services Inc. from 1977 to 1989. MaryLou worked as a mother, mink farm wife and was a municipal court clerk at the Faribault Co. Courthouse for 22 years, retiring in 1992.MaryLou was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell, her parents, Harold & Lena, her brother, Lavern Driscoll, her step-father, Otto Koestler and great granddaughter, Samantha Earl. MaryLou is survived by her daughter, Pam and her husband Bob Herickhoff of Garden City, MN, her son, Tom Erdahl of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, her son, Steve and his wife Barbara Erdahl of Excelsior, MN, her daughter, Deb and her husband Bob Eiselt of Stillwater, MN, her daughter, Kathy and her husband Roy Gussman of Neptune, New Jersey. She is also survived by her brothers, Ken and his wife Marsha Koestler of Shell Knob, Missouri, Dan and his wife Nelda Koestler of Yucca, Arizona, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The circle of life will be completed with the imminent birth of a seventh great-grandchild.
