She was born July 9, 1937, in Blue Earth, the daughter of Ernest and Clara (Oswald) Fenske.She was raised and educated in rural Blue Earth where she was a 1954 graduate of Blue Earth High School. She was married to Ernest E. Parsons on April 15, 1959 in Blue Earth. The couple owned and operated the Ernie''s Webb gas station and cafe for several years before moving into Blue Earth in 1973. Viola did private housecleaning for many years and also cleaned at the Beacon Motel. She began working for Telex in 1983 and continued there until retiring in 2001. After her retirement she continued to clean private homes and help with janitorial services at the Blue Earth Middle school.Viola is survived by her son, Gary Parsons of St. Clair, her son, Larry Parsons of Blue Earth, her son, Terry Parsons of Blue Earth, her brother, Richard (& Beverly) Fenske of Fairmont, her 2 grandchildren- Raelynn and Skyler Parsons and many nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, Ernest Parsons, a brother- Carroll Fenske, two sisters & brothers-in-law: Fern & Jim Matteson and Doris & Chuck Zehm and a niece, Cindy Fenske.
