Jeff was born November 14, 1944, at Blue Earth Mn., the son of John & Iva (Hauskins) Hinrichsen.He was raised and educated in the Pilot Grove Township area where he was a 1962 graduate of Elmore High School. He also attended Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. Jeff grew up on the family farm in Pilot Grove Township and farmed there all his life. He was a generous man with a good heart. Jeff was involved in 4H in school and supported 4H for many years. He was also a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Pilot Grove Township and later became a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore where he had served as a trustee and on the church council. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and was a member of the Blue Earth American Legion post # 89. Jeff loved hunting, fishing and keeping busy outdoors.Jeff is survived by his wife, Judy Hinrichsen of rural Blue Earth, daughter, Julaine (& husband John) Brandsoy of Galesville, Wisconsin, son, Joseph (& wife Beth) Hinrichsen of Lake Crystal, sister, Beth (& husband Wayne) Anderson of Fergus Falls, sister, Linda (& husband Woody) Kastner of Palm Springs, Calfornia, brother,Brad (& wife Jean) Hinrichsen of Blue Earth, 4 grandchildren: Jesse, Aspen, Jalen Brandsoy & Cade Hinrichsen, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents in 2004.
