Ardith Wiese

Ardith was born June 18, 1916, at Dunnell, MN, the daughter of Art and Laura (Hillesland) Erickson.She was raised and educated in the Dunnell and Sherburne areas where she graduated from Sherburne High School in the mid 1930''s. She received her Normal Training in St. Cloud and then taught in a one room school house in Winnebago. She was married to Donald W. Wiese on June 14, 1944 and the couple resided on the Wiese family farm SE of Blue Earth. Ardith was a homemaker, an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth.She is survived by her husband, Donald Wiese of Blue Earth, sister, Leota Hage of Inwood, Iowa, many nieces, nephews and cousins.Ardith was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Odis Erickson & Joyce Welte and a brother- Francis Erickson.Memorial donations will directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth.
