Robert M. Spencer

Robert was born July 8, 1925, at Blue Earth Mn., the son of Manley E. & Minnie C. (Sabin) Spencer.Robert was a graduate of Blue Earth High School in 1943. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946. On December. 13, 1946 he married Mary Jean Skarin at Blue Earth. From 1948-1990 he worked for the Blue Earth Farmer''s Elevator. He had been a resident of St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center for the last 2 1/2 years.He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, V.F.W. Post #4580, and American Legion Post #89 in Blue Earth.He is survived by his Wife: Mary Jean Spencer, Blue Earth, Son: Brian & wife, Patricia Spencer, Windom, Daughter: Lori & Husband, Phillip Bahr, New London, 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his Parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and Daughter Marsha in 1985.
