Ricky J. Sunken

Ricky was born April 26, 1954, at Blue Earth, the son of Sute H. and Opal M. (Kleindl) Sunken.He was raised and educated in Blue Earth where he was a 1973 graduate of Blue Earth High School. Ricky began working for Elmore Concrete while still in high school and continued to work there for 10 years. He began working for CPS in Winnebago in the early 1980''s. He was married to Carma J. Sorensen on August 6, 1983 at First United Methodist Church in Blue Earth. He had worked for CPS, now known as J-M Manufacturing for 34 years, where he was currently employed. Rick was a member of the Faribault Co. Historical Society and enjoyed fishing, hunting and restoring antique tractors.Ricky is survived by his wife, Carma Sunken of Blue Earth, daughter: Lindsey Sunken (& fiancee Chris Evans) of Elmore, mother, Opal Sunken of Blue Earth, brother, Garry (& wife Ellen) Sunken of Blue Earth, brother, Dean Sunken of Sturgis, Michigan, brother, Maynard Sunken of Blue Earth, mother-in-law, Carla Sorensen of Lame Deer, Montana and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, brother-Lloyd Sunken, sister- Doris Newville, father-in-law: Bob Sorensen and an infant son.
