Marian B. Rippentrop

Marian was born February 1, 1924, at Delavan, Mn., the daughter of Albert and Christina (Nagel) Werner.She was raised and educated in Delavan where she was a 1942 graduate of Delavan High School. She was married to Alvie A. Rippentrop on November 19, 1943 in Emerald Township. With the exception of a short time spent in Armstrong, Iowa, Marian was a lifetime resident of Blue Earth and the surrounding area. She worked at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center where she became the Laundry Supervisor for 15 years before her retirement in the late 1980''s. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and then St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. Marian had been a resident of St. Luke''s since 1999. Marian is survived by her son, Gordon Rippentrop of Blue Earth, son, Norman (& wife Nancy) Rippentrop of Eden Prairie, son, Gary (& wife Cindy) Rippentrop of Hector, daughter, Penny Holmseth of St. Louis Park, 10 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren , sister, Thelma Schewe of Blue Earth, brother, Harry Werner of Blue Earth, brother, Robert Werner of Blue Earth and brother, Arlo Werner of Charlotte, North Carolina.She was preceded in death by her parents, son-Ronald Rippentrop, sister-Marlys Werner, brothers, Harlan & Fritz Werner, an infant son and former husband- Alvie Rippentrop.
