Alvin M. Jacobson

Alvin M. "Pete" Jacobson was born October 18, 1918, at Rake, IA, the son of Thomas & Sena (Larson) Jacobson.Alvin attended school in District #29 at rural Guckeen. During WW II he served with the 67th Field Artillery Division in France, Germany, Belgium, England and was part of the Battle of the Bulge. On August 28, 1948 he married Evelyn Daleske at Welcome. They farmed at rural Guckeen all of their lives until retiring in 2003.He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, V.F.W. Post #4580, and American Legion Post #89 at Blue Earth. Alvin''s hobbies included playing cards and the East Chain Horseshoe Club.Alvin is survived by his Wife: Evelyn Jacobson, Blue Earth, Son: Mike & wife, Joann Jacobson, Blue Earth, Grandson: Nathan Jacobson, St. Cloud, Granddaughter: Sara Jacobson, Roseville, Sister: Myrl Bell, Blue Earth, many Nieces & Nephews.He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters: Arvilla (Dode) Mineer, Pearl Hubert, & Loretta Rosol, Brothers: Ray, Virgil (Dick), Perlin (Art), Earl, Darrel & Donald.
