W. Eldon Springer

Eldon was born April 10, 1915, at Huntley, Mn., the son of Walter D. & Wyona Mae(Brown)Springer.He was raised in Huntley and graduated from Huntley High School in 1933. Upon graduation he started farming at rural Huntley. On November. 23, 1935 he married Rachel V. Loken at Huntley. They lived on the family farm and spent the winter in Tuscon, AZ. from 1956-1995. Mrs. Springer preceded him in death in May of 1996. Eldon moved to Mesa, AZ. for the winter and became a resident of Parker-Oaksin 2005.He was a life long member of the Huntley church. He was a past member of the Riverside Town & Country Club, Farm Bureau, Huntley school board, Verona Twsp. board, and Building committee for the Huntley church. Eldon''s hobbies included golf, fishing, bowling, and deer and duck hunting.He is survived by his Daughter: JoAnn & husband, Howard Lange, Blue Earth, Daughter: Sandra & husband, John Smith, Fountain Hills, AZ, Daughter: Mary Kaye Springer, Hopkins, 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents, One sister and brother-in-law. Memorials are preferred to the Community Covenant Church of Huntley.
