Audrey M. Ankeny

Audrey was born August 25, 1923, in Frost Mn., the daughter of Al and Mabel (Anderson) Myers.She was raised and educated in the Willmer and Blue Earth areas where she attended Blue Earth Schools. She married Raymond H. ?Buss? Ankeny on June 16, 1956 in Blue Earth. Audrey was a homemaker and had worked in the Blue Earth Schools cafeteria and in the kitchen and laundry departments at St. Luke?s Lutheran Care Center. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth where she was active in many church activities especially those involving food preparation events. The couple retired to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1986 and later returned to Blue Earth in 2003. The couple recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary this past June.She is survived by her husband, Raymond H. "Buss" Ankeny of Blue Earth, daughter, Patricia (Mark) Skoog of Mankato, step-daughter, Sandra (John) Deniz of Arroyo Grande, CA, brother, Tom (Dianne) Myers of South Carolina, brother, Arvis (Jean) Myers of California, brother, Alloys (Eve) Myers of Texas, sister, Phyllis Myers-Kreutz of Camarillo, CA, sister-in-law, Gladys Myers of California, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, brother- Alger Myers and an infant brother & infant sister.
