Patsy R. Risk

Patsy was born January 5, 1934, in Hebron Township, Kossuth County, Iowa, the daughter of Louis & Elizabeth (Larson) Miller.She was raised in Hebron Township and attended Country School through 8th grade. In 1951, she graduated from Lakota High School. On June 26, 1954, she married Ronald Goeke in Hebron Township, Kossuth County, Iowa. They lived on a farm in northern Iowa and Mr. Goeke preceded her in death in 1994. She moved to Elmore in 1995. On July 29, 2000, she married Darreld Risk at Elmore. Patsy owned & operated the Elmore Clothing Exchange in Elmore for several years until retiring in 2002.Patsy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Elmore. Patsy enjoyed fishing, going to Mesquite, NV for winters and also enjoyed playing bridge.She is survived by her Husband: Darreld Risk, Elmore, Daughter: Ronda (& husband Mark) Dahl, Elmore, Daughter: Rolinda Johannesen, Mason City, IA, Daughter: Tamara Lloyd, Apple Valley, Daughter: Darci (& husband Mike) Blewett, Dallas, TX, Son: Randy (& wife Terri) Goeke, Alexandria, Son: Radley (& wife Cheryl) Goeke, Evergreen, CO, fourteen grandchildren , one great grandchild , and Sister: Betty Lou (& husband Robert) Zierke, Morris, Patsy was preceded in death by her parents-Louis & Elizabeth Miller, first husband-Ronald Goeke, two brothers-Waldo & Miles, and one sister-Janice.
