George W. Stevens

George was born on January 15, 1918 in Davenport, IA. George was preceded in death by his parents Ward & Grace Stevens, his brother John, his first wife Kathrene and second wife Betty. He is survived by his wife Velma, his two sons Bill (wife Lois) and Mike (wife Jane), his grandchildren Mark (wife Heather), Melissa and Justin, and great-grandchildren Sam, Hannah, Nicholas and Lucy. George came to Blue Earth in 1955, he worked at the Blue Earth Power and Light as a steam engineer until he retired in 1982. In his retirement, he enjoyed his HAM radio and had friends all over the world. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. We would like to thank the staff at St. Lukes rest home for their care and consideration for George. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Lukes rest home.
