Alice was born July 5, 1921, at Blue Earth, MN, the daughter of Ernest & Clara (Zierke) Kienitz.She was raised and educated in Blue Earth and attended Blue Earth Schools. She was married to Curtis L. Larson on February 14, 1940 at Emerald Township, Mn. Alice worked at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center and took her nurses training in the evenings through St. Luke''s and later through Crestview Nursing Home in Mankato, earning her LPN. She was a nurses at Crestview in Mankato and at St. Luke''s for many years, retiring in 1978. Following her husband, Curtis'' death, she was married to Lawrence R. Golay on May 9, 1987 in Blue Earth. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was active in church circle. She was also a charter member of the Lucky Clovers 4-H club in Barber Township.Alice is survived by her son, Robert Larson of Blue Earth, her son, Merlin (& Paulette) Larson of Blue Earth, her daughter-in-law, Annette (& Mark) Plowman of Hutchinson, her step-daughter, Ruthann (& Brian) Gaard of Alden, her step-son, Gary (& Helen) Golay of Prior Lake, her 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and several step grandchildren & step-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a son- Larry Larson and 3 grandchildren.
