Edna Hansen was born October 16, 1912, in Delavan Township, Minnesota, the daughter of John & Signe(Torgeson) Olson.She attended school in Winnebago. She worked in a restaurant, clothing store and sold tickets at the movie theater.She married Raymond Hansen on February 21, 1939 at St. Mary''s Catholic Church in Winnebago. After their marriage they lived in Blue Earth where he operated the movie theater and Edna sold the tickets for many years. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a leader in Cub Scouting, volunteered at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center and deliverd meals on wheels.Edna is survived by her son, Jack (& wife Deb) Hansen of Winnebago, sister, Gladys Wegnest of Winnebago, sister, Lilly Allen of Blue Earth, grandsons: Nathan Hansen of Mankato, David (& wife Amy) Hansen of Ivanhoe, Illinois, Bill Hansen of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1991, son - Bill in 2000 and three brothers.
