Minnie Schwab

Minnie was born September 12, 1909, in Delavan, the daughter of August & Lena (Lutz) Meyer.She was raised and educated in Delavan where she attended country schools. She was married to Jonas J. Schwab, Sr. on May 31, 1932 in Delavan. Minnie was a homemaker and had also worked for Mussers Poultry in Winnebago, Green Giant and the Billy Moore Vegetable Farm. She was a longtime faithfull member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church.Minnie is survived by her daughter, Verla (& husband Wally) Weitzel of Blue Earth, daughter, Delores "Dee" Oelke of Blue Earth, son, Jonas "Bud" (& wife Erma) Schwab of Blue Earth, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, a special niece, Sandra Giese and special nephews Craig (& wife Ellie) Giese & Byron Giese. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994, an infant daughter, an infant grandson, a son-in-law, Arthur Oelke, special nephew-Bill Giese, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
