Flora Kark

Flora was born April 14, 1899, at Minonk, Illinois, the daughter of Almer C. and Sarah A. (Sinclair) Bowman.She was raised and educated in Minonk, Illinois. She was married to Emil E. Kark on February 9, 1919 in Minonk, Ilinois. She lived in Sac City and Spencer, Iowa before moving to Blue Earth in 1928. Flora was a homemaker while Emil owned & operated the Blue Earth Rendering Service. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Blue Earth and the Order of the Eastern Star. Flora had wintered in Ft. Meyers, Florida since 1966 where she was a member fo the McGregor Baptist Church. She returned to Blue Earth in the mid 1990''s, and had been a resident of St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center for many years.Flora is survived by daughter, Lorene Clark of Minnetonka, son, Donald E. (& wife Marian) Kark of Ft. Meyers, Florida, son, Arthur E. (& wife Shirley) Kark of Ft. Meyers, Florida, daughter, Beverly (& husband Darrel) Nave of Blue Earth, son, Robert E. (& wife Susan) Kark of Denver, Colorado, son, Emil "Bud" ( wife LaVonne) Kark, Jr. of Chatfield, MN, 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren & 10 great great grandchildren. Flora was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1955, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 son-in-law.
