Josephine Bartley

She was born March 19, 1930, at Fonda, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas D. & Teresa(Lilly)Kelly. She was a graduate of Fonda High School in 1948 and had attended nursing school in Chicago, IL. On June 20, 1950 she married Burnett Bartley at Fonda, IA. They moved to Blue Earth in 1958. Together with her husband they owned Bartley Printing Co. in Blue Earth. She was a member of Catholic Daughters and SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church until 1995, when they moved to Boulder City, NV. Mrs. Bartley was a master bridge player who enjoyed flowers and her family. Mr. Bartley preceded her in death in June of 2000. She is survived by her Daughter: Cecilia & husband, Brad Ballman, LeCenter, Daughter: Teresa & husband, John Johnson, New Ulm, Daughter: Mary Bartley, Hastings, Son: Charles , Minneapolis, Son: Tom & wife, Mary , Blue Earth, 15 Garndchildren: 15 , 1 Great Grandchild: 1 , Brother: Ed & wife, Donna Kelly, Corydon, IA, Brother: Mark & wife, Jean Kelly, Fonda, IA, Sister: Ellen Curran, Marlboro, MA, Sisters in Law: Helen Kelly, Fonda, IA, Jean Kelly, Princeton, IL, Brother in Law; Robert Baskerville, Perry, IA. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
