Frances Hickle

Frances was born August 24, 1915, in Elmore Twsp., Mn., the daughter of Francis T. & Margaret V.(Kirby)Drake.She was a graduate of Blue Earth High School in 1932 and Mankato Teachers College. Frances taught school in western Minnesota, North Dakota, and California. On June 18, 1938 she married John Jay Hickle at Wichita, Kansas. They moved to Chicago, Illinois where she worked, for the Kaufmann Clothing Store for many years. In the late 70''s they returned to rural Elmore. Mr. Hickle preceded her in death in 1988.She is survived by her nephew, Kelly & wife Kara Drake of Elmore, nephew, Frank Drake of Elmore, nephew, Bobby Drake of Alexandria, nephew, Phil & wife Pat Splett of White Bear Lake, niece, Rhonda Drake of Tustin, California, several great nieces & nephews.She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Helen Splett, and one brother, Richard Drake.
