Darrel Nave

Darrel was born April 7, 1929, at Fairmont, Mn., the son of Ralph and Leora (Taylor) Nave.He was raised and educated in Fairmont where he was a 1948 graduate of Fairmont High School. He worked in the drycleaning business in Fairmont before his marriage to Beverly Kark on August 16, 1950 in Canton, South Dakota. In 1955 the couple purchased Modern Laundry & Drycleaning in Blue Earth. Darrel operated the drycleaners until becoming plant manager of Blue Earth Rendering in 1967. He continued to run the rendering plant until his retirement in 1992. Darrel & Beverly enjoyed spending time in Fort Meyers, Florida and eventually wintered there after Darrel''s retirement. Darrel had served 16 years on the Blue Earth City Coucil and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth.He is survived by his wife, Beverly Nave of Blue Earth, son, Doug (& Karen) Nave of Elmore, daughter, Judy (& Alan) Willette of Mahtomedi, brother, Marlin (& Ione) Nave of Northurp, sister, Norma (& Ralph) Crissinger of Sherburn, sister-in-law, Phyllis Nave of Fairmont, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 bothers- Robert & Gene Nave.
