Dorothy LaMont

She was born September 14, 1918, at Delavan Mn., the daughter of Frank & Mary (Marsten) Hardy.She was raised and educated in Delavan, graduating from Delavan High School in 1936. Later that year she was married to Ted LaMont on October 15, 1936 in Blue Earth. Following their marriage the couple moved to Blue Earth where Dorothy did housekeeping at the Blue Earth Medical Clinic for many years. She also did housekeeping for many residences in Blue Earth through the years. Dorothy is survived by her son, Alvin Lamont of Blue Earth, daughter, Shirley (& husband Milt) King of Blue Earth, daughter, Joanne Douglas of Madison Lake, daughter, Darlene Cox of Albert Lea, son, David LaMont of Austin, son, Tim LaMont of Blue Earth, son, Tom LaMont of Frost, 20 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren and a brother, Merwyn Hardy of Lakeville.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Ted) in 1993, two daughters (Patricia Tietz & Judy Gullard), two grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
