Herbert Schaal, Jr.

Herbert "Bud" Schaal, Jr. was born January 11, 1932, in Blue Earth, Minnesota, the son of Herbert H. and Margaret (Andrews) Schaal Sr..He was a graduate of Blue Earth High School in 1949. On June 24, 1951 he married Marlene Ogilvie at Blue Earth. They farmed southwest of Blue Earth until retiring in 1981. Mrs. Schaal preceded him in death in 1990. In 1992 Herbert moved into Blue Earth. He was a member of St., Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed traveling. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (& husband Scott L.) Ankeny of Blue Earth, daughter, Renee Sorensen of Plymouth, daughter, Laura (& husband Charles) Brady of Elk River, son, Douglas Schaal of Rogers, sister, Marian (& husband Norman) Bell of Blue Earth, sister-in-law, Janice Wall of Dupree, SD, brother-in-law, Roger Ogilvie of Blue Earth, mother-in-law, Evelyn Ogilvie of Blue Earth,, seven grandchildren: Chad, Elysia, Brent, Ryan, Leah, Maggie, Jack , and two great grandchildren: Drew and Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marlene in 1990, son-in-law, James Sorenson and sister-in-law, Leona Ogilvie.
