M. Carmen Springer

M.CARMEN SPRINGER, age 80, of Winnebago, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at the United Hospital in Blue Earth. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005, at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Winnebago, with Rev. Wane Souhrada officiating. Burial will be in Rice Lake Cemetery, Delavan. Visitation time will be from 4-8 PM Friday at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Blue Earth and one hour prior to srvices at the church on Saturday.She was born October 23, 1924, at Mitchelville, Iowa, the daughter of Fabian and Margaret (Barrett) Barrer.She was a graduate of Delavan High School in 1942. On July 19, 1942 she was married to Severn A. Springer at Easton by Rev. Stanley Williams. They farmed and raised livestock at rural Winnebago all of their lives. Mr. Springer preceded her in death in 1993.She attended the First United Methodist Church in Winnebago and was a member of the Social & Literary Club.She is survived by her Son: David & wife, Debbie Springer, Winnebago, Son: Michael & wife, Terri Springer, Blue Earth, Son: Douglas & wife, Mary Springer, Winnebago, Daughter: Jaclyn & husband, Danny Rynearson, Winnebago, Daughter: Shelley & husband, David Germscheid, Garden City, 12 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren, Brother: Norman & wife, Lois Barrer, Nicollet.She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons, and one brother.
