Cantheline F. Peterson

Canthelinee was born April 8, 1922, at Frost Mn., the daughter of George and Augusta (Johnson) Carlson.Canthy was raised and educated in Frost where she was a member of the first graduating class of Frost High School. She owned a restaurant in Frost with her sister, Adell Hanson, before her marriage to Burton Peterson on December 3, 1944 in Frost. The couple farmed in rural Frost until 1979 when they retired to Fairmont. In the late 1990''s she moved to Blue Earth. She was a resident of St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center for the past 2 years. Canthy was active in various church activities through the years and enjoyed traveling abroad, cooking, baking and especially the company of animals and children.She is survived by her son, Bruce (& wife Connie) Peterson of Frost, daughter, Diane (& husband Neil) Hollander of Los Gatos, California, son, Craig (& wife Ellie) Peterson of Chanhassen, seven grandchildren: Kim (& husband Tom) Johnson, Blue Earth, Jeff (& wife Staci) Peterson, Rake, Iowa, Barb (& husband Joe) Anderson of Blue Earth, Ryan Peterson of Menomonie, Wisconsin, Erin Peterson of Blue Earth, Brooke Bittiker of New York, Danny Bittiker, Oregon and six great grandchildren.Canthy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters- Adell Hanson, Gert Hanson, Gladys Olson, brothers- Archie Olson, Alvin Carlson, Canton Carlson and 1 great grandchild.
