Lee R. Eichhorn

Lee was born January 21, 1940, at Kossuth Co., Iowa, the son of Earl and Bertha (Davis) Eichhorn.He graduated from Elmore High School in 1957 and spent 2 years in the Army. He married Jeannette Richter on February 23, 1962. He was a long distance truck driver for over 40 years. Among his many hobbies were oil painting, fishing, wood working and camping with the grandchildren. Since his retirement in early spring his fondest memories were working with "the boys" on remodeling his son Ken''s house. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather & friend with a remarkable sense of humor.Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Jeannette Eichhorn of Elmore, daughter, Lisa (& husband Matt) Schmidt of Fairmont, son, Ken (& wife Julie) Eichhorn of Wells, grandchildren: Joseph & Luke Schmidt, McKenna & Mason Eichhorn, mother-in-law, Mary Richter of Elmore, "adopted daughter",Lori Stevens of Fairmont, sisters: Marjorie (& husband Art) Person of Lone Rock, Iowa, Beryl (& husband Gerald) Soderberg of Bancroft, Iowa, Nancy (& husband Dean) Lloyd of Elmore, Sally (& husband Eldon) Huber of Elmore, Judy (& husband Terry) Bresely of Crest Hill, Illinois, Susan Schoup of Lawrence, Kansas, brothers: James (& wife June) Eichhorn of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Mark (& wife Darla) Eichhorn of Minnetonka and Leslie (& wife Vickie) Eichhorn of Waldorf, Maryland.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother- Jack Eichhorn.
