Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2004, at 11:00 AM, at Elmore United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mary Willis Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Elmore. Visitation time will be from 3 - 7 PM, Friday January 30, the Elmore United Methodist Church. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth & Elmore is handling the services.She was born January 29, 1943, at Blue Earth Mn. the daughter of Carl and Alice (Marquardt) Leach.Carol married Jarrod Stanton on June 11, 1960 in Elmore. She has been employed by Telex Communications in Blue Earth for 31 years. She was a member of the Elmore United Methodist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Trinity Quilters. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and quilting.Carol is survived by her Husband: Jarrod Stanton, Elmore, Son: Timothy (& wife Brenda) Stanton of Mountain Home, Idaho, Son: Troy ( & wife Tammie) Stanton, Mazeppa, MN, Daughter: Pamela (& husband Brian) Zimmerman, Cleveland, MN, Son: Trent Stanton, Ellendale, NDakota, Twin Brother: Darrell Leach, Grant Park, Il, Sister: Mae Jean (Mrs. Howard) Zierke, Blue Earth, Sister: June (& husband David) Bleess, Blue Earth, Sister: Mary Fenske, Frost and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents.
