Henrietta Widlund-Jansen

December 31, 1926 — February 29, 2004

Henrietta was born December 31, 1926, at Gilmore City, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Ida (Wiemers) Eyhusen.She was raised and educated in the Palmer, Iowa area where she graduated from Palmer High School. She was married to Stanley W. Widlund on October 14, 1946 in Jackson, MN. She lived most of her life in the Palmer, IA. area where she was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church, was a clerk at Woolworth''s Dept. Store in Fort Dodge and was active in the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. Following her husband''s death in 1988 she moved to Pequot Lake, MN. and later to Pennsboro West Virginia in 1994. In early 2001 she moved to St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth where she was married to Elso Jansen on December 31, 2001. While residing at St. Luke''s Henrietta was active in the residents council, where she served as president for 2 years, and was editor of the St. Lukes Resident News publication. Henrietta is survived by her husband, Elso Jansen of Blue Earth, daughter, January (John) Hellman of, Bancroft, IA, daughter, Jolene (Paul) Lowther of Blue Earth, daughter, Judy (Jack) Kamakian of Blue Earth, son, John Widlund of Blue Earth, daughter, Joyce (Danny) Kelly of Milford, IA, sister, Rosella Eyhusen of Storm Lake, IA, 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband-Stanley Widlund, parents, sisters- Betty Lou & Juanita Eyhusen and grandson-Robert Sweeney.
