May 5, 2004Margaret J. GuerberMargaret J. Guerber, age 79, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2004, at 10:00 AM, at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, with Father John Ozbun officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM, Friday, May 7, 2004 , at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street, in Blue Earth, and one hour prior to services at the church.Margaret was born September 18, 1924, in Blue Earth the daughter of Tom & Grace (Drehmel) McGill.Margaret graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1942. She attended college in Winona and Mankato, Minnesota. Margaret married Donald J. Guerber on June 16, 1945 in Gulfport, Mississippi while Don was stationed with the U.S. Navy. She was a longtime member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth.She is survived by her husband, Donald Guerber of Blue Earth, son, John Guerber of Redwing, son, Tom Guerber of Farmington, son, Charles Guerber of Cottage Grove, brother, Robert McGill of Warminster, PA., seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Nancy Marie Guerber-Lacina in1993 and a brother, William McGill.ervice of Blue Earth & Elmore.
