ELMOREMay 18, 2004Bill CoupangerBill Coupanger, age 68, of Elmore, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at Immanuel St. Joseph''s Hospital, Mankato. Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2004, at 11:00 AM, at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore, with Rev. Robert Roettger officiating. Visitation time will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Shiloh Lutheran Church, and one hour prior to services at the church. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth & Elmore is handling the arrangements.Bill was born November 8, 1935, in Elmore Mn. the son of William A. & Mildred E. (Sutherland) Coupanger, Sr.He was raised and educated in Elmore where he was a 1953 graduate of Elmore High School. He attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Bill was a salesman at his family owned business, Elmore Nursery, for over 30 years. He also drove for Baarts Trucking at Northrup for several years and worked at the Elmore Farmers Elevator. He retired in the late 1990''s. He was an avid golfer and card player and enjoyed visiting with friends at coffee.Bill is survived by his wWife: Pat Coupanger, Elmore, mother, Mildred Coupanger of Winnebago, dDaughter: Brenda (Mrs. Rocky) Huber, Elmore, dDaughter: Sheila (Mrs. Steve) Johnson, St. Louis Park, daughter, Sharla (Mrs. David) Lyon of Austin, dDaughter: Dawn (Mrs. Wendell) Espeland, Tonganoxie, Ks, Son: Doug (& wife Susan) Coupanger, Waterford, KS, sSon: Greg (& wife Shelley) Coupanger, Lakeville, sSister: Barbara (Mrs. Dennis) Servatka, Green Valley, Az, and 14 grandchildren: 14. He was preceded in death by his Father, grandson-Timothy Huber.
