Darwin Risk

Dar was born February 20, 1963. He was raised and educated in Elmore where he was a 1981 graduate of Elmore High School. He spent 2 years at Mankato Vocational & Technical College majoring in airconditioning and refrigerator repair. He later earned his degree from Devry Institute in Dallas, Texas where he made the dean''s list. Dar has worked for TAC in Texas as a project manager for many years. Dar, also known as "Risky" was a sports lover, paritcularly Nascar racing as he was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He also loved all the Minnesota sports teams: the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, Gophers and Wild. He was also an avid outdoorsman & hunter.Dar is survived by his parents, Wayne & Joyce Risk of Elmore, sister, Kim (& husband Jim) Volz of Elmore, fiancee, Tammy Beam of Janesville and nephews, Travis & Mike Volz of Elmore.He was preceded in death by his paternal granparents- Orville & Esther Risk and maternal grandparents- Willis & Ora Pingel.
