Donald J. Guerber

Donald was born February 19, 1925, in Jo Daviess Township, MN the son of Mark and Blanche (Dunn) Guerber.He graduated from Blue Earth High School and then spent time in the U.S. Navy during the Second World War. He married Margaret McGill on June 16, 1945 in Gulfport, Mississippi. They farmed in Jo Daviess Township, MN until retiring in 1980. Donald is survived by three sons: John (& wife Sue) Guerber of Red Wing, MN, Tom (& wife January) Guerber of Farmington, and Charles (& wife Julie) Guerber of Cottage Grove. Also surviving are a brother, Edmond Guerber of Arizona, sister, Lorraine Allen of Huntington Beach, California, sister, Sr. Elaine Guerber of Mankato, seven grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife in May of 2004, daughter, Nancy Marie Guerber-Lacina in 1993, two brothers and two sisters.
